PICK A WORLD!

How to play

Eight days. One hundred residents. Every choice leaves a mark.

Your first journey in four steps

  1. 1

    Start your island

Choose the eight-day island on the home screen and press the start button. You can play without signing in.

  2. 2

Read the choice and its cost

Read the situation, then compare the resource changes on each option. A positive number adds a resource; a negative number spends it. Locked choices explain the resource or earlier decision you need.

  3. 3

    Check the day-end result

After each choice, review the consequences and daily production and consumption. Some decisions cause events several days later. Press Continue to move to the next day.

  4. 4

    Reveal, review and replay

After day 8, reveal your ending. Review the five mission goals and the Benefits & costs tab, save the completed journey, or share a challenge with a friend. Replay to try a different strategy.

Trust and technology affect the journey, but are not separate mission goals. Two hidden island endings reward connected decisions as well as all five goals. One follows marine restoration; the other follows a community kitchen and volunteer lighthouse.

Read your island’s resources

ResourceWhat it means
BudgetPay for choices. You gain 6 coins at the end of every day.
FoodResidents consume 12 daily, or 15 after welcoming newcomers. Farms and other supplies produce food daily.
PowerThe island consumes 6 daily. Power plants add daily production. A volunteer lighthouse adds 6 power daily. Fuel power also reduces the ecosystem by 2 daily.
ShelterProtect residents when the storm arrives. Low shelter after the response can cause safe evacuation.
EcosystemShows nature’s health. Development and harvesting can damage it; some choices restore it.
TrustShows community confidence. Empty food reserves reduce it by 10; a blackout reduces it by 8.

Choice cards show the immediate change. The result screen includes daily production, consumption and delayed events, so the final change can differ.

Three tips before the storm

Two more worlds to operate

The city: a night without a blackout

Six shifts. Meet power 20+, trust 55+, privacy 50+ and congestion 45 or less. Budget gains 8 per shift; base power demand is 12, rising to 20 when congestion exceeds 50. The heatwave after shift 3 and possible tower overload after shift 5 are announced before they happen.

The Ocean: Search for the Missing Fleet

Six turns. Rescue 20 sailors, keep food 15+, hull 40+ and reef 50+. Every turn consumes 8 food and adds 6 budget. A current chart and radio relay unlock different rescue routes; prepare for the squall after turn 4.

Each operations world has three optional strategy hints, a consequence report after every decision, an ending explanation and a full ledger. Completed endings contribute to your discovery collection on this device. Drafts also stay on this device; saved completed worlds sync after Google sign-in.

The Lantern Train

Six decisions on a winter train. Finish with heat 35+, food 30+, trust 40+, and time 20+. Values begin at 55, 55, 45, and 60. The first route determines the tunnel or bridge crossing. After the fourth decision a storm costs 15 heat. Each choice shows its immediate effects; the journey log includes the storm and the final safety goals. Three optional hints guide your plan, and you can replay for another ending.

Useful things to know

Can I undo a choice?

In the island survival and city/ocean operations modes, choices cannot be undone during a run. Finish the run, then replay. The original six-choice experiences let you rethink the previous choice. Opening this guide from the home screen uses a new tab so you can keep your current game open. Unfinished progress auto-saves on this device; use Continue journey after refreshing. Starting a different journey replaces this draft after confirmation.

Where are my saved worlds?

Save on the ending screen, then open My worlds on the home screen. This browser’s collection stores completed games and shows the latest 30. Open the dashboard and sign in to link this collection to your account and access it across devices. Guest collections depend on the browser cookie.

How do I find a different island story?

Your choices unlock later projects. Keep forest homes, grow kelp and finish the storm with no evacuees waiting to return. A day-6 community kitchen can lead to a day-7 volunteer lighthouse and a new day-8 harbor promise. You still need to meet all five mission goals. Existing paths and the living reef ending remain available.

How much food does the final ocean rescue need?

The coordinated rescue costs 15 food, then the turn ends and consumes 8 food. To finish with the required reserve of 15, you need 38 food before choosing it, or 31 if your kelp gardens produce 7. Other rescue choices have different costs.

How does sharing work?

Share after completing a game. The link includes your choices, so a friend can play and compare decisions. It does not share your saved collection.

What are the other worlds?

The three original experiences have six A-or-B choices. Nature, Connection, Invention and Freedom start at 50. Final scores stay between 5 and 95; the highest score names your world. Ties use that same order. These experiences do not use the island survival goals.

Is there a new daily story?

The launch edition rotates three curated stories at 00:00 UTC (09:00 in Korea). It repeats existing stories rather than generating a new one each day.

What do the top buttons do?

Switch light/dark mode, add the app to your home screen, change English/Korean, or open notifications. Enable new-content Web Push after Google sign-in to receive release alerts while the app is closed. In-game alerts have a separate setting.
